Moltsog sand

MOLTSOG SAND

It is a sand dune in the Hustai Mountains National Park, in the Tuul Valley, in the forest-steppe zone, reminiscent of the Gobi Desert, and covers an area of about 10 square kilometers. Moltsog sand is very fine-grained. Most of it melts in the mouth and disappears, and the sand has a healing effect on the bladder, kidneys, spine and joints.

It is estimated that more than 50 species of plants grow in the Moltsog sand area, half of which are medicinal plants, which has affected the quality of the sand.
