Home to the slowly disappearing ethnic group of nomadic reindeer herders known as the Tsaatan people, the grounds houses one of the most secluded community in the world (which comprises of less than 40 families). The Tsaatan people have inhabited the remotest subarctic taiga for thousands of years, moving 5-10 times a year. They rely on the reindeer for most, if not all, of their basic needs: milk, which is also used to make cheese; antlers, which they use to make tools; and first and foremost, transport. They do not use the reindeer for meat. This makes them distinctly unique among reindeer-herding communities.
As one of the last remaining indigenous groups of reindeer herders in Mongolia, the Tsaatan and their livelihoods face extinction due to the dwindling numbers of their reindeers. Embark on a journey of a lifetime to the north of Mongolia and experience for yourself the cultural and spiritual identities of an ancient community, in imminent danger of phasing out.

Early morning after breakfast we will drive to Khutag undur Bulgan province.

After breakfast, we will drive to Murun city in Khuvsgul province.
On the road: approximately 240km.

After breakfast, we will drive to Khuvsgul lake in Khatgal sum.
Short explore in the Khusgul lake after lunch we will drive to TSagaan nuur sum.
On the road: approximately 300 km

After break time you will short driving to Baruun taiga.
You will go reindeer riding to reindeer herder’s family a 5-6 km road.

After break time, you will drive to Amarbayasgalan’s third big monastery of Mongolia.
