Taimen Fishing Trip

Our representatives will greet you at the airport and will transport you to your hotel or guest house
in Ulaanbaatar.
After checking in, you will have time to rest before having dinner at a modern Mongolian restaurant.

After breakfast you will drive to the Eg River fishing lodge near Khutah Undur Sum in Bulgan
province. On the way, you will stop for lunch near Darkhan.
After check-in, you can fish, rest in the local ger camp, or look around.

Overnight in local ger camp or tent.

580km – about 10 hours by car

During the day, you will fish in Eg River by boat. Thanks to the outfitter’s management, the Eg-Uur
is the only watershed in Mongolia that practices a strict catch-and-release of taimen.

They utilize only single, barbless hooks. They manage the river very carefully to insure that all of
their anglers have the fishing trip of a lifetime.

After fishing you will visit nomadic family and eat Mongolian barbeque for dinnerr

On this day you will ride a horse and go to the beautiful little lake

After breakfast you will leave the fishing lodge and drive back to Ulaanbaatar. Lunch will be at a
local restaurant near the black road in Baruunkharaa sum on the way. (580km)

You then have the chance to check in at a local hotel or guest house in Ulaanbaatar.

City Tour
Ulaanbaatar is rather small but has some beautiful and interesting places. During the city tour you
will have the opportunity to visit the biggest monastery in Mongolia: Gandandegchilen. Other stops
will be the Nomin State Department Store, Gobi Cashmere, and many more.

You will finish the evening with a traditional music and dance show by Tumen Ekh

After breakfast you will have some free time before our guide and driver will pick you up from your
hotel and drive you to the airport for your return flight.
